Three years ago I started True North Beauty. I still remember the first day I sold True North Beauty products to the public and introduced my new company. It was at the Oct. 18, 2015 UMaine Homecoming Fair. It was such an exciting but stressful time! The labels and boxes were delivered the day before the fair and because they were my first run of boxes, they were not glued together. So I stayed up all night gluing the boxes together and praying that people would like my products. That seems like a lifetime ago so making it to the 3 year mark has been a huge milestone for me. Especially when I think about all that has been accomplished during that time!
Leaving my full time career was super scary and a big risk for my family. I wake up every day aware of how lucky I am to have the support from my husband to take this opportunity and live my dream! None of this would be possible without the support of you, my customers! I think I have some of the most beloved and loyal customers out there! I receive messages every week from people telling me about their experience with TNB products and how amazing they feel about the health of their skin. Building peoples’ confidence is one of the cornerstones of my brand and to hear that TNB is making a difference for so many of you is so heartwarming. All of my hard work for the past 3 years has been worth it when I hear that my products have inspired confidence by giving people healthy, clear skin!
Looking to the future, I am excited but realistic enough to know that a lot of hard work and sacrifice will be required. In order to accomplish goals and make my big dreams a reality, consistent focus and drive will be critical. I believe that TNB has products and a message that people all across the country are searching for. We have always aspired to be a national brand and in the next year we will continue to take steps to get our products in the hands and on the faces of those that desire healthy, clear skin. As a small business we heavily rely on our customers to tell their friends about our products to help spread the word about TNB. We are thankful for all the times you have told a friend, family member, or co-worker about TNB and without those little word of mouth recommendations, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Now we will have even more exciting things for you to share with your friends! In the next year we will start our Brand Ambassador program and our “Never Without” order renewal program!
